Hmmm....
What can one say about a man named Brooke Shields? How about, "great songwriter, and gifted singer?"
A Victoria, Texas boy, who cultivated his singing talent in church and high school and was selected to the 485 voice "All Texas High School Choir".
Brooke's college golf scholarship was interrupted by his service in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman. His vocal recognition allowed him to become the leader of the United States Navy Choir.
After his discharge from the Navy, he co-founded a para-medical company serving and assisting pulmonary patients with their special needs.
Wishing to follow his dream towards his place in the music industry, Brooke spent a year in California working hard learning the craft of Songwriting and Recording. He earned his stripes by singing national commercials for various corporations.
Brooke's move to Nashville in 1985 brought him new friends to amaze and a reunion with old friends from California and Texas who were only too happy to help him realize his dream of making his music, his way. We all picked and grinned wildly on his new Album, "It's About Time". I think you'll like it.
George Brooke Shields proudly wears the name of his grandfather, Dr. Frederick Brooke Shields who was born in 1882. Some call him 'the other Brooke Shields'. All of us, his friends, brothers and sisters simply call him 'Bubba'. What else would you call a guy named Brooke Shields?
Thank you for your kind attention.
